SUMMER 2011

Trees are green, flowers are in full bloom, goslings have hatched and mosquitoes are out in full force. I think that's a sure sign of summer.

Speaking of summer; that means it's time to change our hours. That also means we are celebrating another year...15 to be exact. Wow; it seems just like yesterday. Time flies when you are having fun. Once again I owe you; our friends and customers for another wonderful year.

FREE... You don't see that word much any more. Our Tuesday knit/quilt/sew/whatever you want to do day is open to everyone and it's FREE!. I have decided to make this in to an all day event, every Tuesday from 10:00 - 5:00. Bring your own lunch or order in. AND we have Knit Night the first Thursday of each month from 6:30 - 8:30, and it's FREE!
That's 3 times I've said "free" in one paragraph.
Our next Thursday knit night is: Thursday 7, 2011 6:30pm.

Ewe-nique Knitters 2nd Cruise Oct 2 - Oct 8 2011
If you like to knit and have fun or just want to have some fun; join us on our 2nd knitting cruise. Even if you don't like to knit or don't know how to knit; you can still join us. Sit by the pool/knit, sit by the big screen theatre/knit; swim/knit; spa/knit; casino/knit; library/knit or do all of it and MORE. It doesn't get any better than that. I have a lady that would like to go; but needs a cabin mate. If you are interested and don't have someone to room with; please let me know. She went with us last time and is a very nice person.

SUMMER RETREAT:
We have decided to do a summer retreat this year. This will take place on Sunday July 31, 2011. I will have a beautiful fall quilt for our project. Kits will be made soon and will be limited. If you would like a kit; please let me know as soon as possible. The model will be in the shop on display shortly; but I do have a picture. This is a one day retreat at Bruce Township Hall. Sew and knit or do whatever you'd like in a cool place. Since it's summer; we will have a picnic theme. Hamburgers and hot dogs will be provided. I promise; no ants. Games and door prizes too. Come see old friends as well as make new friends. Call me for more information at 906 635-9937. Space is limited and registration is required.
